RECENT:  

Sara Goes to Lunch was the big winner at the Blue Ridge Vision Film Festival!  We are very honored to have been recognized with awards in the following categories, all of which included shorts and features as nominees.

September 2005:  Screened as part of the One Reel Film Festival at Bumbershoot—the World's Best-Attended Short Film Festival!

July 2005:  Screened at the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.

May 2005:  Screened before Me and You and Everyone We Know at the Jacksonville Film Festival.

April 2005:  April is a super-busy month for Sara Goes to Lunch!  So far, Sara has screened in the East Lansing Film Festival where we were awarded "Best of Fest", at the Arizona International Film Festival in Tucson, and as part of the Philadelphia Film Festival, chosen by MovieMaker as one of the top ten "fests to impress".  Also screened at Indianapolis International Film Festival and Kansas City Filmmakers Jubilee.

March 2005:  Sara was selected as one of only 10 shorts for the Fargo Film Festival in Fargo, ND.  What a treat to discover the secret recipe for alphabet soup, as shared by Lyn Nichols from her column "What's Cookin'?" in Fargo's newspaper The Forum.  

Sara also screened at the DC Independent Film Festival in Washington, DC (Dean, Sally and Tommy attended, pictures to come) and at the Texas Film Festival on the Texas A&M campus in College Station.

February 2005: Sara screened at the Victoria Independent Film & Video Festival, Victoria, British Columbia.

December 2004: Sara screened in the Anchorage Film Festival and was selected for the Best of Fest.  Sara also screened as part of the inaugural Dixie Film Festival in Atlanta, Georgia.

November 2004: Sara screened in the California Independent Film Festival and was nominated for a Slate Award.   Sally Nacker attended (photos here).  Also in November, Sara screened in the Annapolis Film Festival.

October 2004: Sara was selected from hundreds of entries to be a finalist in the Savannah Film Festival.  Director Dean Kapsalis and producer Tommy Minnix attended.

Sara had her West Coast premiere at the beautiful ArcLight Cinemas as part of the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival in September 2004.

Congratulations to the cast and crew on the festival premiere of Sara Goes to Lunch at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, which took place in August 2004 at the Columbus Theatre in Providence.
